Very clean and comfortable unit. The company's goodie bag with extra toilet paper, paper towels and dish detergent and pods was an especially nice and welcome touch.

The niggles: It is hard to understand how the cleaners could ignore the broken fruit drawer in the fridge. There was, also, a broken drop down shelf on the separate coffee stand. The only glasses were 16 oz tumblers -- fine for water, less so for juice, cocktails or wine.

Overall, we enjoyed our time quite a bit.

we all had a lovely time. Our condo allowed for all our various ages to have privacy yet great space to gather together when the "time was right" Nice kitchen for group cooking and eating. The location was close to driftwood beach which we really enjoyed. I would book this condo and location AGAIN.

The villa was adequate but not updated it was wonderful to allow our 8 lb dog to stay with us. The upstairs bathroom needs repair to the wall

We enjoyed the location and the beach when it was available. We did have to watch tides closely. Our first villa was okay. Lots of stairs! I say first because unfortunately the roof sprang a leak and the upstairs hall outside of bathroom was soaked. Management was superb at locating a second villa in a similar location. It was 2 BR vs. the original 3 but appeared in better condition than the first. The actual outdoo property was lovely and well maintained. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay at Jekyll Island and plan to return.

It was very comfortable and convenient to every thing. We enjoyed the pool. And walked the beach.only recommendation I have is maybe putting a compact dryer underneath the stair way if possible cause we send alot of time at the beach and the pool and the showers and baths in top of that we always had wet stuff hanging to dry. So if we had a dryer that held like 5 towels maybe it would have been a huge help.

We always enjoy staying at Villas By the Sea and have always had a good experience. This particular rental is not near the pool and has a bad AC unit. The maintenance and property management team were prompt and courteous but the repair cost us almost a day of our vacation time. The repair wasn't complete- although the AC worked, we couldn't adjust the thermostat and were incredibly cold the last part of our stay. This property was also not as clean as previous rentals we've had at Villas. There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher when we arrived and that caused some concern about cleanliness of the rest of the house.

Villas By The Sea is a nice quiet place to stay. Villa’s beds were clean and comfortable as was the furniture in the living area. Floors and carpets were clean except for a couple of light stains in a couple of bedrooms. Just needs some cleaning of baseboards, chair railing and in the corners around the tubs. Very nice area by the beach, which is having some reclamation done at this time. Nice pool area. We did need the air conditioning condensation line unclogged and the service man was there in about 15minutes to fix the problem and very friendly. Any staff we ran into was very friendly. The Driftwood Restaurant on the property is wonderful and chef and his staff is very friendly.
