We greatly enjoyed staying at the duplex it was clean, decorated nicely and close to everything. Seen deer come by everyday and the neighbors are very nice and quiet.

The mattress pad in the master bedroom needs to be replaced and the pillows are lacking.
But this was a great place to stay.

A very comfortable 3-bedroom, neat & clean, with some new furniture and accessories. The neighbours are a treat and the frequent deer in the garden are lovely.
The beach is nearby, as is golf. Everyone we met was welcoming and friendly--everyone waves and says hi.
That's why we've been coming here for a decade.

Clean, neat, plenty of room for 5 people.
Suggestion: notify renters that hot and cold water are reversed in kitchen. It would be helpful to have instructions on hooking the portable dishwasher to the sink. Thanks.

I have been coming to Jekyll since I was 7 years old for the Parrott Family Reunion, 1964 is when the tradition started. Every year there has been "Parrotts" on this Island. It's a Southern thing for us, they come from all over the States to be here, some years more than others but our head count is always in the 60's range. We have had a Wedding on the beach right before a Hurricane blew in and that was the only year we were asked to evacuate. Even though we have had to cut it down from 2 weeks to 1, it is non-stop family fun, with a Parrott golf tournament, games on the beach, hunting for sharks teeth, sand-dollars, shells and the kids loving the tide pools that are left behind at low tide. We make our own Night life but one of the most enduring activity is every night one Family host the dinner, every house cooks something but we all gather together as one, Thank our Lord for all our Blessings and share one Great Southern Meal!!! We still tour the Island every year, love the changes that have taken place and hate to leave but knowing the "Flock" will be back same time, same place the next year. Thank you Jekyll for providing some of our Family's most prized Memories!!!See ya next Year!!!
