Jekyll Island Shoreline Protection and Dune Restoration

Island Beach Access – Currently, the Jekyll Island State Park Authority has contracted for updating the shoreline protection and dune restoration for most of the northeast half of the island. As a result, beach access may be limited or nonexistent during certain times.

Beach access is to remain available from Driftwood Beach, Great Dunes Park and the Ocean View Park. We apologize for any inconvenience.
