The house was bigger then I expected from the picture! The pictures do not do justice to the size of this home! We loved the location the beach was right across the road and over the dunes. We spent a ton of time in the pool and hot tub as well! We ran into a few small issues like the washer not working but they came right out to fix it. Some of the house has been updated but the home could really use some TLC inside and out and updated bedroom furniture.
Great house! LOTS of room for family to spread out and relax!

Renting was a breeze. Information was sent promptly and clear. Instructions for entering and leaving were provided in advance. Home had just about everything we needed! The back patio and pool area are amazing, in fact we spent most of our time between that and the Florida room.Home could use some TLC but we still enjoyed it immensely. House location is just perfect to bike in either direction. This island is made for biking and really exploring this amazing place.

The size and location of the property was perfect for our needs. Our kids and grands loved the pool and hot tub. The pool/hot tub is well maintained by a pool contractor. Easy access to the ocean/beach. The house both inside and outside needs a through cleaning and organization. The pantry, cabinets, closets, vanities were all cluttered with items not needed; making some unusable for us. The floors and carpets all need to be cleaned. The toilet back in the sunroom was not flushing (the one we would have used from the pool). Some of the electrical outlets were not working; including the upstairs master overhead light, fan and lamp on nightstand. The pool area and furniture could use a good pressure wash. A little elbow grease and this place could be awesome.

Thank you Jekyll Realty for a great stay. We also rented Dewey Deehs as we are a group of 16 golfers.
We are very happy with this house as it suits our needs and is very comfortable.
We had an incident on the back deck. When people sat on the 2 picnic tables, they both broke. The wood on the benches was rotten. this was dangerous and should have been taken care of.
Other minor comments; the BBQ burners could do with a clean or be replaced.
The kitchen faucet was lose in its housing, so we had to be very careful. This needs attention.
The carpet could do with a clean.
All other equipment was functional. We are very happy with this house and it suits our needs. We have rented Jekyll Hyde Away for many years and also booked for next year.

Lots of space - somewhat tired inside

The house has lots of space and the pool and sunroom are wonderful benefits. This house does need some attention though to bring it up the level of some of the newer and remodeled homes on the island. It just feels a bit tired and dated. That said, it does have a location that is convenient for hopping on the bike trail and setting on your daily adventure.

The Property has so many nice emanates - large and spacious. Walking distance to the beach. However there are areas that have been neglected and need some TLC. The mattresses need to be replaced. The pool and hot tub are so wonderful, The Large patio is so amazing. The lighting in the house is odd and the back deck needs repairs. The windows are very dirty. The property managers were very helpful and friendly.

Overall , a good experience . on first arrival the outside of the house lacks " Curb Appeal ". The landscaping , roof /roofline could use some attention . On the inside there were no suprises ( the pictures online are accurate ) The interior is as clean as can be expected with a rental property . Main Kitchen could use a little upgrade , but is functional . The Bedrooms are as pictured , however the AC and the ceiling fan in the downstairs bedroom are not functioning . Outside, the Swimming Pool and Hotub /jacuzzi ? are a Fabulous asset to the property , however the wooden deck areas are in need of some TLC , loose boards and screws are DANGEROUS !! We had a great Vacation and enjoyed our stay and are in discussion about returning to Jekyll Hydeaway. With a little TLC from the owners , this would become a definite Go To Getaway for our group ! Also , a nice quiet location, depending on who might be renting next to you , but easily accessible to all the island has to offer on bicycle, Redbug or car .

This has been our "home away from home" for a week each summer for the past 22 years. It has been a special place for our family to gather together as we talk, play, and relax.
The one negative that we notice each year is the bed mattresses. As the years have passed, they have become increasingly uncomfortable!

There was trash in our trash cans when we arrived and trash was never picked up and then my husband and I were charged $100 for trash being left and we were not notified in advance that our card was going to be debited. I apologize for the trash but I could have been notified before $100 was taken out that I did not have! Also, the carpets were stained when we got there and not vacuumed!

Jekyll Hydeaway is an excellent house, the Jacuzzi is a major part of the reason we stay here. After 2 rounds of golf a day, it's very welcoming. The house is clean and in a great location. The only problem was that there was no gas for the BBQ and Jacuzzi when we arrived, but the management company resolved the issue on the Monday, but it did impact our initial few day. Overall I would recommend this house.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Jekyll Hyde Away. We spent a lot of our time by the pool and at the tiki bar/sunroom. The home was convenient to my son's wedding location. We had so much fun that we are already planning next year's family and friends trip without the stress of a wedding!
