We always have a good experience renting with Jekyll Realty. This place was close to beach access for morning coffee and sunrises.The piano was a nice surprise for us since we love any music. The cottage history and paintings were unique. Truly enjoyed our stay. The mattresses definitely need to be upgraded though.

Artist's Alcove was beautiful, beautifully maintained, and offered all the amenities required for a wonderful vacation. We enjoyed the cardinals and jays at the window birdfeeder and the deer that visited almost every night. We were just a short walk from the beach via the beach access trails. We visited the shops on Jekyll and ate twice at the Driftwood Bistro. The food is delicious but get there early because it fills up fast. St. Simons is close by with wonderful shops. Barbara Jean's is a restaurant we always enjoy for lunch and Bennie's Red Barn for supper. We have been coming to Jekyll for 45 years and have never had a bad vacation. We have used Jekyll Realty when we stayed in houses and have always been impressed with their friendly, helpful and professional service. 24 years ago, when our grandson was 3, our car stopped running just at the entrance to the causeway to Jekyll. My husband called a tow truck and I called Jekyll Realty because my grandson needed his regular breathing treatment. A wonderful agent from Jekyll Realty came and picked me and my grandson up, drove us to our rental house, and got us installed in the house so I could care for my grandson. They are the best!

We were happy as always to return to Jekyll Island. One of my favorite places in the world. However we are worried that the reason we fell in love with Jekyll is being developed away. Please do what you can to keep it the quite, peaceful place we experienced back in the early 2000's.

We had a great time on the island, everything was very nice...would recommend to to friends. Beach house was perfect..A big Thankyou to all the people that helped make things so nice��would have liked ceiling fans in the bedrooms....the kitchen chairs need to be replaced.

We enjoyed staying at the Artists Alcove very much. It is a well cared for and much loved family cottage and it is very apparent. Location great for just crossing the street to a very beautiful beach, not crowded at all in early May. Thank you for opening your home for others to enjoy and for allowing us to bring our dog!

Our rental experience was pleasant - we revised our stay a few times with no issues and were able to arrive late. Check out was also a breeze and everything about our rental was as expected.

Would defiantly stay here again. House was very clean and a great location for the proximity to the beach, right in front of the bike trail. We were very satisfied with the house. The only complaint we had about the house is the comforter in the king bed room was covered in dog hair which did not matter where we brought our own blankets. And the only other thing was the previous tenants had left the trash cans full. We are looking forward to coming back sometime soon and will probably stay in the same house. Thanks for a great first time Jekyll Island experience. Also hats off to Jekyll Island for taking the keys to the house where we were running behind getting there. Also rent a golf cart you will have a blast we rode it the whole island every day.

We loved the house and area it was in. So cute, could move in, no problem.
There were a couple of issues that needed to be addressed and the property manager sent people out. The kitchen faucet was just a dribble and quite frankly, wasn't much better after the maskless service guy left.
The sprinkler system had recently been installed and came on at 4A spraying the guest room bedroom and scaring my friend, who was sound asleep. Someone did come by the next day to look at it.
There were a couple of issues that needed to be addressed and the property manager sent people out. The kitchen faucet was just a dribble and quite frankly, wasn't much better after the maskless service guy left.

AA is our favorite house to rent. Location is great. We have been staying here for 8 years now. Wish the beds/mattresses would be upgraded. Love the screen porch! Cleaning crews are doing a great job in between guests!!

What a cute beach home! It was very well equipped. Great location, especially given that our family rented the house next door as well. Short walk to the beach. The carport and screened in porch were a plus. And how sweet of the owners to share their bikes!! The only complaint we had were how dated and uncomfortable the beds were. If they can’t be replaced with new ones, it would be so much better if they at least had a memory foam topper. With that small improvement, I would’ve given it 5 stars!

We had a very nice week stay here. This was our second time at this house. The location is great, and the house this time was equipped with everything we needed to cook.Bikes were available as well as sand toys for the kids.

The rental layout worked out well for us, it was a little dated and dusty. I think it could benefit from a deep clean or shampooing of the carpet.

Great location, close to the beach. Will definitely stay here again. The only thing we had to do upon arriving was clean the screened in porch because of spiderwebs. The house itself was clean and cozy. We loved it!!! One of the most relaxing vacations we have had in a long time.

Great location. We’ve stayed here numerous times over the past 8 years as we love the location, the porch, the bikes, the master bath...and the fact that our friends stay next door. The house was freshened up this year (finally). We did experience an AC issue (unit only 3 months old we were told) and Jekyll Realty sent someone out ASAP and fixed it right away (thank you). I fixed the fan that has never worked right for 8 years (fed up)...just put a new fan in already!! New furniture in family room was a nice surprise. Master shower handle still needs to be repaired to prevent drips.
